Conclusion

From the study that are conducted to determine the ability of the scanning acoustic microscopy on detecting voids, cracks and porosity on the sample, which is focused on composite material, the outcome shows positive results. This are supported by the findings of the study, which shows the suitability of the acoustic microscopy technique in detecting subsurface porosity, defects on composite fibers and subsurface cracks on the composite material.
